Hurricane Dennis

Mobile survived Hurricane Dennis pretty much intact, something for which I'm very grateful. Dennis was supposed to be much harder on this city than it was. We got rain and gusts of wind but our power stayed on the whole time. Because I can't sleep when I'm worried, I baked peanut butter cookies with my daughter and finished The Gunslinger, and started and finished The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Now I've started The Egyptologist, but because I'm not so worried anymore, it may take me a few days to finish it.
