Friday shuffle

  1. Blackberry Blossom: Michelle Shocked from Arkansas Traveler
  2. Everybody's Trying to be My Baby: Johnny Cash from Unearthed
  3. Yesterday's Wine: Willie Nelson from Honeysuckle Rose
  4. That's the Way Love Is: Marvin Gaye from Every Great Motown Hit of Marvin Gaye
  5. Less is More: Joss Stone from Mind, Body & Soul (Good Lord! They redesigned the cover to say "As seen on Oprah." It didn't say this when I got it.)
  6. Suite for Solo Cello No. 2 in D Minor: Pablo Casals from J.S. Bach: Suites for Cello 1, 2 & 3
  7. Sky is a Poisonous Garden: Concrete Blonde from Bloodletting
  8. I Fought Piranhas: The White Stripes from The White Stripes
  9. Three or Four: The New Pornographers from Twin Cinema
  10. A Peak You Reach: Badly Drawn Boy from About a Boy

That was a weird little shuffle but one I enjoyed in spite of that. I hadn't heard Badly Drawn Boy before; they were in my son's iTunes and I transferred some of his stuff to my iPod so I could hear some new things.

I liked them a lot too. That's the last thing I need -- another band whose music I want to buy!

I love the Arkansas Traveler CD, and Bloodletting. You've got good musical taste :-)

We both had Concrete Blonde this week.

I like Badly Drawn Boy, too. He (it's one guy, I think, like Bright Eyes) did the soundtrack to "About a Boy".

Thanks, lazy cow -- my taste can be really weird.

Robin: I noticed that we both had Concrete Blonde. Bloodletting is still my favorite album of theirs.

Bach's cello suites are some of my favourite pieces. My son has them on his iPod!

Thanks for visiting my blog via Babelbabe. It's good to hear you enjoyed the Stones from the River book too - I'm looking forward to starting it when I can prise it from my husband's grasp.

Me again.

To answer your question (on my blog), castor sugar is the fine white sugar used in baking.

What? No James Blunt? : )

Are you liking Tractors???

No James Blunt. Yes I Tractors a lot -- it was bitter sweet in a way that I wasn't expecting. I was expecting laugh out loud funny.
