Denver

I doubt you can see this that well but this is what the Colorado Convention Center looked like this morning. This is a big deal for me as Lower Alabama never gets snow so I'm not that used to it. I love the huge blue bear in front of the center -- I don't know why he's blue though -- if there's some legend about a blue bear associated with Colorado -- or if that's just the color the person decided to make him.

I'm at ALA Midwinter as you can probably guess from the fact that I'm in a cold snowy place. The American Library Association always does this -- Annual which is in June/July is in some hot place (it's been in New Orleans twice since I've been going) and Midwinter is always in some freezing place -- last year it was Philadelphia.

I haven't been to Denver in years. I wonder if Casa Bonita is still in business. Brought back a few memories. I enjoyed skiing in the Rockies. It seems I always visited in winter.

Back in "LA" are we?

Yep -- it's much more humid here.

Hi Katya - I notice you are reading Dear American Airlines - it's on my wishlist so you'll have to let me know what you think of it!

I honestly didn't think I would like it but I did. Some of it was funny and some was bittersweet and I'm still not sure what I think of the ending but overall I liked the book.
