Rain and Hurricane Katrina

I am so sick of rain. Once I used to like it when it rained; hearing the rain against the window while I was inside made me feel cozy. But it rains here everyday now -- big, pouring sheets of rain, not drizzles. I feel as if I must be growing mold it's so wet. Then there's Hurricane Katrina in Florida; whether or not it will come this way is anyone's guess. If it does, it probably won't be until at least Sunday. Whether or not its strength will increase over the Gulf, I don't know. That we will get more rain from it though is a certainty. Yay -- the grass and the mold continue to grow.

Stay safe and stay dry. And think of it this way...lots of rain is a good excuse for reading a lot and listening to music.

Wanna send some of that rain my way? I'll give it back at the end of October and trade you back for our sunshine.

Dixie: Always looking on the bright side of things!

Jess: I really wish I could send it -- I'm so sick of it! I can't swim because they close our YMCA pool everytime it rains practically -- if there's even going to be a rumour of thunderstorms.

Flourish: My daughter hopes it is cancelled -- but then she's a kid. :) Now Katrina looks like it's going to MS and LA, but we'll probably still get rain.
