Laura's Blog: Philadelphia: I'm amazed, gladdened and saddened by the conviction of Edgar Ray Killen. Amazed and gladdened because it was a long time coming. But I'm saddened when I think of all the life that he got to live enjoying the company of his family and friends while the family and friends of James Chaney, Andrew Goodman and Michael Schwerner never got that opportunity.
